We're recruiting to our Strategic Procurement Team and are looking talented, curious and motivated Sourcing Specialists to join us.These roles will focus on providing procurement expertise, strong customer relationships skills and procurement project management knowledge.
As a Sourcing Specialist, you'll work across a wide range of exciting procurement projects, partnering with stakeholders from across the Council to deliver innovative and effective procurement solutions and develop procurement skills.
Procurement at East Sussex County Council is at the heart of delivering high-quality public services. The Strategic Procurement Team work closely together, sharing knowledge, commercial expertise and resource to best service our customer’s needs. The team manages high volumes of spend with external suppliers, procuring everything from software to social care services, cleaning products to sports equipment. Our work directly contributes to better outcomes for residents and stronger local communities.

Your Office base will be at County Hall in Lewes. We support a hybrid working approach Typically, you’d be expected to be in the office a minimum of one day a week, with flexibility required to meet business needs.
Interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams online or in person at County Hall, Lewes within two weeks of the closing date.
