Sourcing Specialist - Permanent Full-Time / Perth CBD

We’re looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our Commercial team full-time, working across our Network, Construction & Maintenance portfolio. You’ll lead the charge on strategic sourcing – from developing smart strategies and running tenders to assessing opportunities and negotiating high‑impact commercial agreements.

Your Role in Action
  • Drive smart sourcing strategies and lead negotiations that deliver real value for Western Power.
  • Play a key role in delivering a major cost‑saving pipeline – targeting over $170M in opportunities.
  • Use data, insights, and e‑procurement tools to inform decisions and streamline sourcing activities.
  • Identify new ways to reduce costs and unlock commercial improvements across the business.
  • Be the commercial and governance lead for contract development and execution.
  • Partner with Category Specialists to bring sourcing strategies to life through effective sourcing events.
  • Collaborate with contract managers and operational teams to turn plans into action on the ground.

  • Qualifications in Procurement, Business, Law, or Finance are great – and if you know your way around AS 4000 contracts, even better!
