Job Description

As a Sourcing & Production Lead Assistant at COS, you are responsible for supporting the Sourcing & Production Lead in managing the end‑to‑end product merchandising process, including workflow administration, sample follow‑up and system maintenance.

You will collaborate across the product team with Buyers, Designers, Production and suppliers to ensure the merchandising flow runs smoothly and efficiently.

This role reports to the Global Merchandiser Manager with a dotted line to the Sourcing & Production Lead.

What you will do
  • Supporting the Sourcing & Production Lead throughout the end‑to‑end merchandising process by managing timelines, documentation, approvals and ensuring smooth workflow administration.
  • Securing on‑time sample readiness by proactively following up with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Maintaining system accuracy and integrity by updating product data, tracking progress, and promptly resolving discrepancies to ensure product information is up‑to‑date and accessible for decision‑making.
  • Ensuring clear communication flow between Buying/Design/Pattern/Production and suppliers.
  • Working closely with Buying/Design/Pattern and suppliers as a team.
  • Maintaining strong relationships and clear communication with suppliers to secure timely sample delivery and production execution.
  • Ensuring transparency in systems and collaborating closely with relevant production team members to secure strong execution.
  • Supporting a learn‑and‑adapt approach to the ways of working, keeping product first and simplicity at the core.
  • Assisting in executing and securing the merchandising workflow.
  • Planning and prioritising effectively by managing clear timelines and trackers to keep the merchandising workflow organised and on schedule.
  • Communicating proactively with suppliers and internal teams to follow up on samples, resolve issues quickly and prevent delays.
  • Leveraging system tools to maintain accurate and up‑to‑date product data, ensuring visibility and smooth decision‑making.
  • Bringing passion for product, attention to detail, and strong process management skills – qualities that will directly contribute to your success in this role.
