Job description
Sourcing Manager Greater Manchester GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 Hybrid

We're looking for a Sourcing Manager who's as passionate about beautiful, commercially strong products as they are about efficiency, ethics, and smart strategy.

If you're a proven buyer looking for a role that broadens your scope, this is a natural step: your skills in range planning, supplier relationships, and commercial decision‑making will translate directly into managing the sourcing and responsible product strategy for a fast‑growing, design‑led brand. This is a pivotal role where commercial buying expertise meets responsible sourcing, giving you the chance to shape how collections are developed, sourced, and delivered to customers worldwide.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead seasonal supplier and product strategy reviews, analysing data to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and maximise commercial potential.
  • Contribute to a forward‑thinking strategy that balances style, quality, ethical standards, and profitability.
  • Identify new sourcing opportunities, materials, products, territories, and operational solutions to strengthen the brand and deliver exciting assortments.
  • Anticipate challenges, close gaps, and bring fresh ideas to how products are developed, sourced, and delivered.
  • Manage and develop supplier relationships, ensuring transparency, trust, and innovation at every stage.
  • Apply ethical and compliance checks to ensure suppliers meet the brand's standards.
  • Work closely with buying, tech and merchandising teams to validate suppliers, secure competitive pricing, and ensure business cases are sound.
  • Lead projects to implement new processes or solutions, coordinating multiple teams to bring initiatives to life.
  • Guide new suppliers through first orders and ongoing collaboration, troubleshooting and resolving challenges to maintain smooth delivery.
  • Stay ahead of evolving legislation.
  • Partner with teams to maintain high standards for ethical sourcing, stock quality, and environmental responsibility.
  • Act as a key point of contact for supplier performance, ensuring alignment with the brand's vision and commercial goals.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience as a buyer, merchandiser, or commercial product manager.
  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence in driving range decisions, supplier negotiations, and cost structures.
  • Interest in ethical sourcing, sustainability, and ESG compliance, with the ability to implement best practice across partners.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical, strategic, and proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion for delivering beautiful, commercially viable product ranges that delight customers and align with brand values.
