Isomorphic Labs (IsoLabs) was launched in 2021 to advance human health by building on and beyond the Nobel‑winning AlphaFold system. Your impact

This is a fixed‑term contract (FTC) for 12 months.

You will be responsible for identifying engaging and attracting exceptional technical talent for our Engineering and AI teams. Moving beyond traditional sourcing methods you’ll build a deep understanding of the talent landscape. You will act as a trusted advisor using data‑led market intelligence to guide our hiring strategy and ensure we are connecting with the very best talent globally.

What you will do
  • Develop Deep Domain Expertise: Cultivate a profound understanding of our complex technical and scientific domains to identify and engage world‑class talent in areas such as Machine Learning Engineering and AI.
  • Architect Data‑Led Sourcing Strategies: Conduct in‑depth research to map global talent markets. Use this data to build and execute sophisticated targeted sourcing strategies, tracking metrics to iterate and optimise your approach.
  • Serve as a Strategic Partner: Work in close collaboration with Talent Partners and Hiring Managers acting as a subject matter expert on the talent market.
  • Engage World‑Class Talent: Utilize a range of advanced and creative search techniques to identify and engage the highest‑level passive candidates. Craft compelling bespoke outreach that communicates the ambitious vision of Isomorphic Labs.
  • Champion Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate receives a‑class experience, maintaining regular and thoughtful engagement throughout the entire process.
  • Build Future Talent Pipelines: Go beyond immediate hiring needs by generating leads and building long‑term relationships with relevant connections for future talent pipelines.
Skills and qualifications

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience sourcing for deeply technical roles (e.g. Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Research, Science) within a fast‑paced research‑focused or technical environment.
  • A data‑led mindset with the proven ability to use market intelligence and analytics to inform and iterate on sourcing strategies.
  • Expertise in a wide array of sourcing techniques including Boolean/Boolean‑xray search and leveraging AI tools to uncover talent.
  • A highly collaborative approach with experience acting as a sourcing expert and strategic partner to recruiters and senior hiring managers.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to articulate a compelling vision that engages and inspires passive world‑class candidates.

Nice to have

  • Experience using Greenhouse.
  • Familiarity with G‑suite.

Hybrid working

It’s hugely important for us to share knowledge and build strong relationships with each other and we find it easier to do this if we spend time together in person. This is why we follow a hybrid model and would require you to be able to come into the office 3 days a week (currently Tuesday, Wednesday and one other day depending on which team you’re in). If you have additional needs that would prevent you from following this hybrid approach, we would be happy to talk through these if you’re selected for an initial screening call.
