Responsibilities

As a Sound Designer you will take ownership of a product area, assess its needs, create the necessary sounds, implement them in the engine, and guide any additional work that is required, including recording sessions.

Qualifications

• Ability to produce sounds that inspire and impress!
• Previous experience in a similar role within the games industry and a clear understanding of what is required to make a game sound good – demonstrated in your showreel.
• An intimate knowledge of sound recording, mixing, editing, etc. with experience recording different material and an understanding of all practicalities involved.
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of using Wwise (preferred) or another game sound implementation system (e.g. FMOD, Unity, Unreal etc).
• Demonstrable experience with implementing Wwise or other middleware content into a game engine, using sound designer facing tools.
• Experience in creature voice design, gibberish and synthetic voice design is highly desirable.
• A proactive, creative and collaborative approach.
• Scripting knowledge is a plus, but not essential to this role.
