Overview

Sora Manager, Malmaison — £35,000, 45 hours per week. Permanent contract. Location: Malmaison York.

Shout it from the rooftops! Quite literally. We are excited to have opened our one of a kind Sky Bar at Malmaison York. Think luxurious and comfortable loungers, lanterns, beautiful trees, Champagne, cocktails and food platters, with stunning views of York Minster for business events or social occasions.

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic, bubbly, organised and meticulous individuals with a passion for excellent customer service. You will have experience in running high end bars and/or restaurants and want the opportunity to develop yourself further.

Responsibilities
  • Operate as a hands-on manager for the Sky Bar, drawing on knowledge and experience to motivate, educate and inspire the team.
  • Ensure high standards of service, quality, and presentation in a luxury bar environment.
  • Coordinate daily operations, guest experience, and event support at the Sky Bar and associated venues.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive continuous improvement and brand consistency.
  • Support training and development opportunities to enable internal progression.
