Job summary

Cardiff-based Your World is seeking a locum Sonographer for a specialist obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound service in Cardiff. The role offers a pay range of £30.00 to £35.00 per hour (all inclusive) and is suitable for an experienced specialist with NHS experience preferred but private practice will be considered.

The contract runs from 02/11/2026 to 29/11/2026, with fast registration and ongoing support from a dedicated compliance and recruitment team to help you start quickly and work

Based within a fantastic Specialist Ultrasound Service in Cardiff, this position is ideal for a Sonographer who needs a new challenge and wants to take their career to the next step. This position is suitable for a very experienced Specialist Obs/Gynae Sonographer and would accept candidates on a 7 level. The hourly pay rate for this role is £30 - £35 P/H all inclusive.

Our Client is looking for candidates who meet all of the below criteria:

• Extensive experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and relevant professional registration
• Ideally, prior NHS experience, but candidates with private ultrasound experience will be considered
• Be available to commence the role ASAP and commit to the full duration of this contract
