Job Description: Sommelier

Salary: £14.31 per hour, including tronc.

Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days.

As a Sommelier, you will support the bar team and have the opportunity to learn about bespoke cocktails, local beers, ciders, and more. You will play an important role within our restaurant and bar service, offering an extensive wine list from around the world, including local British produce and our own vineyard at THE PIG in the South Downs.

You will develop your wine knowledge by interacting with guests, pairing wines from our cellar, and providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience. In-role training will help you build relationships with suppliers and deepen your understanding of local and international brands. Opportunities to further your qualifications in wine and spirits through various courses are available.

Preferred qualifications include experience in a similar role and WSET or equivalent certifications.
