Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Solution Engineer II to build, maintain, and refine high-performance, scalable systems while leveraging AI-driven technologies to enhance development efficiency. You will collaborate with the Results & Attribution development team, partner IT teams, and business stakeholders to enable end-to-end solution delivery across multiple features.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 2–5 years of software engineering experience with SQL and Python, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, CS, Eng, or related field.
• Experience in collaboration, requirements elicitation, testing, and ambiguity management.
• Experience with prompt-driven AI development techniques.
• 2–5 years of software engineering with SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud-native solutions (AWS).
• Able to learn quickly and be a team player.

As a Solution Engineer II in the Investment Results domain, you’ll build, maintain, and refine high-performance, scalable systems while leveraging AI-driven technologies to enhance development efficiency and delivery outcomes. You will collaborate with the Results & Attribution development team, partner IT teams, and business stakeholders to enable end-to-end solution delivery across multiple features of a project or full project scopes.

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• You have demonstrated skills in collaboration, requirements elicitation, testing, and managing ambiguity

• You have some previous experience leveraging prompt-driven AI development techniques to accelerate engineering workflows and enhance solution delivery.

• You have 2-5 years of software engineering experience with expertise in SQL and Python.

• You have experience with cloud native technology solutions (preferably AWS)

• You have ability to learn new technologies and business areas quickly and are a team player with a great attitude and passion towards your work.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
