Job summary

Refractal, a UK-based AI security company, seeks a customer-facing Security Solutions Engineer to bridge product capabilities with client needs in London. You’ll guide technical discovery, deliver tailored demonstrations, and help customers evaluate the value of Refractal’s security platform.

You’ll collaborate with sales, security and engineering teams to ensure smooth handovers into deployment, document requirements, and contribute to reusable demo materials.

Qualifications

• Experience explaining technical products to customers or external stakeholders.
• Understanding of security operations and how tools, telemetry and workflows fit together in a customer environment.
• Practical ability to work with APIs, inspect data and write scripts to support demonstrations, integrations and troubleshooting.
• Ability to translate a broad customer problem into testable requirements and communicate the outcome clearly.
• Sound judgement about product capabilities, with the confidence to surface limitations, manage expectations and involve the right colleagues.

Responsibilities

The role

You’ll help prospective customers understand where Refractal fits in their security environment and show them its value. You'll lead technical discovery and evaluations, answer integration questions and hand customers over smoothly into deployment, working with our sales, security and engineering teams.

What you’ll do

• Lead technical discovery to understand customers’ security priorities, existing tools, data availability and deployment constraints.

Success in your first six months

• You can independently lead technical discovery and demonstrate Refractal clearly to security and engineering audiences.

• You’ve helped customers complete focused evaluations that provide evidence for a buying decision.

• You’ve created reusable demonstration materials and handover guidance that improve the customer experience.

About you: essential

• Experience explaining technical products to customers or working with external stakeholders to solve technical problems.

• Experience presenting AI or security technology to both technical and business audiences.
