Solutions Engineer (Software & Data)

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days a week)
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Insurance + Training + Progression + Worldwide Travel

Overview

A leading cloud and digital transformation consultancy invites a data/software engineering professional to transition into a client‑facing solutions engineering role. You’ll bridge the gap between sales consultants and clients, providing technical expertise across pre‑sale and post‑sale stages, supporting integration, configuration and optimisation of cloud services. The role is based in the Central London office three days a week with national and global travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical expert and solution consultant across pre‑sales and delivery of cloud and data services.
• Advise clients on the most effective technical strategies, best practices and integration approaches.
• Hands‑on system integration, data development and solution implementation in pre‑ and post‑sales.
• Travel nationally and internationally for client meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software or data engineering with hands‑on programming experience in Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Solid experience with cloud and data infrastructure on GCP, Azure or AWS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven client‑facing experience.
• Live within commutable distance to Central London and open to global travel.
