An exciting opportunity with an innovative and fast-growing automation solutions provider in the intralogistics sector. The company designs and delivers bespoke automation solutions for customers across warehouse/intralogistics, material handling and logistics environments. The role of Solution Design Engineer is a key technical contributor within the sales engineering function, responsible for analysing customer requirements and data, and developing fully costed, bespoke warehouse automation solutions to meet customer needs. The position offers home-based hybrid working and the chance to work at the forefront of warehouse automation solution design alongside sales operations.
Home-based hybrid working — typically 3 days at home, with 1–2 days visiting clients or the office. Exposure to a wide range of warehouse automation technologies and customer applications. Opportunity to influence automation concepts from early design through to customer presentation. Longer-term opportunity to gain experience in project engineering if desired. This is a great opportunity to join a growing systems integrator and would suit an experienced Solutions Design Engineer / Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer who enjoys combining technical design with commercial awareness and could lead to experience in project engineering in the long term.
