Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead large-scale digital identity and biometric projects in the UK, including work with government and international partners.

The role offers hybrid working with 2/3 days in the office in Belfast or Manchester, and a salary up to £120,000 plus annual bonus, £6,700 cash allowance, and up to 4 weeks abroad. Access to learning platforms and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Digital Identity and/or Biometrics solutions in public sector or large-scale environments.
• Proven experience architecting secure, scalable enterprise solutions.
• Experience with Identity Verification Platforms, Digital Credentials, Digital Wallets, and related biometrics tech.
• Experience delivering complex programs across multiple organisations and stakeholders.
• Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of identity standards including GPG45, eIDAS, and GDPR.
• Understanding of TOGAF and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Eligibility to obtain UK SC Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of large-scale digital identity and biometric solutions.
• Shape innovative solutions spanning IDV, digital credentials, wallets, ABIS, and live facial recognition.
• Provide technical leadership across multi-supplier and multi-department programs.
• Support clients in identity strategies, roadmaps, and procurement approaches.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and run pilots and feasibility studies.
• Manage architecture governance, risks, compliance, and design assurance.
• Collaborate with biometrics experts and government partners on identity challenges.
• Support business development and growth opportunities.
• Mentor colleagues and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience delivering Digital Identity and/or Biometrics solutions within Public Sector, Government, Borders, Policing, Healthcare, National Identity, or large-scale Financial Services environments
• Proven experience architecting secure, scalable enterprise solutions
• Experience with technologies such as Identity Verification Platforms, Digital Credentials, Business Identity Services, Digital Wallets, Live Facial Recognition, Biometric Matching Solutions, eGate and Border Technologies, and Identity Verification Applications
• Experience delivering complex programmes across multiple organisations, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of identity standards and frameworks including GPG45, eIDAS, and GDPR

We offer this Solutions Architect role within our growing Digital Identity and Biometrics team, with opportunities available in Belfast and Manchester and a hybrid working pattern of 2/3 days in the office. We are seeking someone to help deliver innovative solutions used by millions of citizens across the UK and internationally, working with government organisations, technology vendors, and industry experts on complex identity challenges. We offer a salary of up to £120,000 gross per year depending on location, an annual bonus, a £6,700 cash allowance, up to 4 weeks working abroad per year, access to leading learning platforms and professional development programmes, support for continuous learning, certifications and career progression, exposure to major Government digital transformation programmes, and the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams on high-impact initiatives using industry-leading cloud, data and AI technologies.
