Job summary

Accenture UK is seeking an Associate Solution Architect to cover London, Bristol, Manchester or Birmingham with travel to client sites across the UK. You will define creative solutions, shape architectural roadmaps and document standards to guide delivery.

You will lead development teams, ensure conformance to architectural principles and contribute to the practice through thought leadership and innovative services.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of open source and cloud technologies.
• Good understanding of architectural concepts and modelling notations.
• Experience with ArchiMate, UML, BPMN and integration patterns.

Role Location – London, Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham - must be willing to travel to Bristol, and other client sites throughout the UK on an ad hoc basis

Salary: Competitive (based on experience)

Level: Accenture will be hiring at Specialist level

As an Associate Solution Architect you will:

• Define creative solutions for business problems, holistically addressing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Define the architectural roadmaps for systems and business services
• Effectively describe solutions using industry standard modelling notations
• Define and document standards and guidelines to direct the solution delivery
• Ensure that the finished product conforms to the architectural principles and standards
• Contribute to the practice development through thought leadership and development of innovative services and offerings

We expect you to have:

• Strong working knowledge of open source, open standards and cloud technologies
• Good understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies and approaches
• Excellent working knowledge of design patterns and modelling notations such as ArchiMate, UML and BPMN
• Good knowledge of integration techniques, architecture patterns and non-functional drivers
• Experience of leading development teams from a design and technical basis
• Quality Assurance skills to assess the quality and completeness of deliverables
• Knowledge and demonstrable experience of both traditional and agile delivery methods
