CONTRACT SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

CONTRACT : 3 MONTHS

START DATE : IMMEDIATELY

RATE : £550 / DAY OUTSIDE IR35

LOCATION : Remote with occasional travel to Bristol and Ireland

We’re looking for a Technical Solutions Architect to support the development of a digital service platform designed to connect tax systems with a range of digital services. The client builds country-specific platforms for tax revenue collection, so experience in tax or related terminology is a bonus, but not essential.

What You’ll Do

• Translate business regulations and objectives into robust technical architectures
• Shape the design of a digital platform integrating tax and digital service components
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with compliance and operational needs
• Bring innovative thinking, including familiarity with agentic AI concepts
• Design and advise across microservices architectures
• Work within cloud environments (preferably AWS)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong technical background with a focus on architecture and applications (ideally Python, Node & AWS)
• Ability to bridge business, regulatory, and technical domains
• Knowledge of cloud-native and microservices patterns
• Curiosity for emerging technologies and modern AI approaches
• Any tax-related domain knowledge is a plus
