Descrial is an AI work-execution platform purpose-built for alternative investment firms and their portfolio companies and securely orchestrates proprietary data, external sources, and workflows. Descrial is an important pillar of Enterprise Intelligence Orchestration (EIO) and enables it by structuring and standardizing data while embedding domain expertise, thereby enabling faster and contextual analysis, broader coverage, and more intelligent decision-making. It is backed by TresVista's 1,800+ employees and deep domain expertise across investment diligence, research, valuation, fund administration, accounting, and data analytics. The team is small, senior, high-ownership, and in-office, with direct access to the Executive Committee.
OVERVIEW
As a Solution Architect, you will bridge customer needs and platform capability: designing how W-OS — including its agentic and AI services — lands inside sophisticated investment firms. You will lead technical discovery with clients, design integration architectures across the Java/Spring core and Python AI services, and own the trade-offs that make enterprise deployments repeatable rather than bespoke. This is an engineering-side role that spends roughly half its time with clients: you will not write production features, but you will read code, debug integrations with engineers, and be the person a client CTO trusts in the room.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Solution and integration design
- Lead discovery workshops with enterprise clients; translate requirements into integration architectures — APIs, auth, data flows, tenancy
- Design end-to-end solutions combining core W-OS services with agentic/AI capability (LLM features, RAG and knowledge graph over client-approved data, agent workflows)
- Produce architecture diagrams, NFR matrices (security, performance, compliance), and implementation roadmaps that engineering signs up to
Evaluation and governance
- Design how a client will know the system is working on their data: acceptance criteria, golden examples drawn from their own corpus, and the accuracy bar agreed before go-live
- Set agent governance with the client: autonomy levels, approval workflows, action audit trails, and who is accountable when an agent acts
- Advise clients and internal teams on appropriate LLM use — RAG vs fine-tuning vs agents — and set honest expectations on limitations and governance
Delivery and advisory
- Ensure designs respect multi-tenant isolation, auditability, and observability standards, and align with AWS and CI/CD patterns
- Support pilots and production cutovers; identify risks (data residency, latency, model behaviour) with mitigations that hold
- Contribute to technical pre-sales and PoC scoping, and turn one-off solutions into repeatable patterns the next deployment can reuse
WHO YOU ARE
Prerequisites
- 5+ years in software or infrastructure roles, including 3+ years in client-facing solution, enterprise or technical architecture
- Strong grasp of REST, cloud (AWS), SaaS multi-tenancy, and security fundamentals
- Hands-on familiarity with Python and/or Java — able to read APIs and debug integration issues with engineers
- Experience scoping or deploying LLM-based capability with enterprise clients, including how success was measured
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management
Good to have
- Private equity, investment, or financial-services workflow domains
- Enterprise data-governance experience, including AI governance conversations with regulated buyers
- AWS Solutions Architect or comparable certification
- You build with AI coding tools daily (Cursor, Claude Code or comparable) and have a considered view of where they help and where they do not
EDUCATION
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
