Job summary

SR2 is recruiting an AWS Solutions Architect to join a consultancy supporting a complex technology transformation programme. The role focuses on end-to-end solution design within AWS, data, applications, and infrastructure, with emphasis on security and scalability.

You will translate business requirements into architecture, produce diagrams and migration documentation, and provide guidance throughout delivery while engaging with senior stakeholders and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end solution architecture experience on complex programmes.
• Hands-on AWS design experience across applications, data, integrations, and infra.
• TOGAF or similar architecture framework experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AWS architectures across apps, data, integrations and infrastructure.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical designs.
• Create architecture diagrams, designs and migration plans.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout delivery and resolve challenges.
• Support governance and Well-Architected reviews.
• Influence diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.

SR2 is recruiting an AWS Solutions Architect to join a consultancy supporting a complex technology transformation programme. We’re looking for someone with strong end-to-end solution architecture experience, a solid AWS background and the ability to work closely with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.

Due to the quick turn around required and the secure nature of this work, applicants should have active SC clearance. Unfortunately we cannot put you apply for SC clearance for you if you do not already have this.

The role:

• Design end-to-end solutions across AWS, applications, data, integrations and infrastructure
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions
• Produce architecture diagrams, solution designs and migration documentation
• Provide architectural guidance throughout delivery and resolve technical challenges
• Support architecture governance and assurance, including AWS Well-Architected principles
• Work with and influence a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

• Strong Solution Architecture experience on complex programmes
• Hands-on commercial experience designing solutions within AWS
• Broad knowledge across applications, data, integration and infrastructure
• TOGAF or similar architecture framework experience
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, cloud security or other cloud platforms would be beneficial.
