Job summary

Pigment in London is seeking a highly skilled professional to transform complex customer problems into sophisticated, multi-dimensional models. You will work daily with customers to understand requirements, design Pigment applications, and mentor clients toward self-sufficiency.

The role combines strategic thinking in a fast-paced startup environment with deep empathy and strong stakeholder relationships. Fluency in English (French or other European languages a plus) and an MBA or equivalent

Qualifications

  • Build complex models and explain them to stakeholders so they are simple to use and maintain.
  • Structure and validate large volumes of unstructured data.
  • Learn quickly across diverse customer use cases and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers daily to transform their existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated multi-dimensional models.
  • Understand business requirements and document them.
  • Design and build the corresponding Pigment applications.
  • Train and co-build with customers so they are self-sufficient in the solution.
  • Participate in and/or lead UAT and deployment.
  • Integrate source software and migration solutions, including connectors and APIs.
  • Act as the link between customer stakeholders and the product team to help us develop the best planning platform.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to develop and improve our methodology and processes.

Job description

Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Exceptionally skilled in building complex systems and explaining them to all stakeholders so they are simple to use and maintain
  • Comfortable working with a high volume of unstructured data and able to structure and validate it
  • A great learner, especially of new domains, as we work across very diverse customer use cases and businesses
  • Strong at building trusted relationships with a deep sense of empathy and dedication
  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond strategically to customer needs
  • Experience meeting multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
  • Fluent English, with French or additional European languages as an advantage
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
