Job summary

RS Group is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Strategy and Architecture team, focusing on Salesforce platforms. You will design, develop, and operate RS's global Customer Technology systems, collaborating with product, engineering, data, operations and digital functions.

You will define end-to-end Salesforce architecture and integrations with SAP, Snowflake, Adobe, and other enterprise tools, while guiding governance and design decisions across initiatives.

Qualifications

• An experienced Solutions Architect with demonstrable design experience.
• Experience with large enterprise customer management architectures, especially Salesforce products.
• Demonstrable experience in Salesforce platform architecture and integration with other enterprise apps.
• Knowledgeable of governance, standards and best practices for Salesforce implementations.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture & overall design for major projects involving Salesforce platforms.
• Define Salesforce platform architecture and end-to-end solution design across Salesforce Clouds.
• Define Salesforce integration architecture with SAP, Snowflake, Adobe and other platforms.
• Support governance processes for target/transition architectures for RS Salesforce solutions.
• Facilitate design decisions with stakeholders and communicate implications to senior management.
• Contribute to cross-functional Design Working Groups on key design elements.
• Ensure programmes comply with architectural governance processes.
• Provide mentoring and coaching for less experienced Solution Architecture team members.

The Opportunity

RS Group is seeking an adept Solutions Architect to join our dynamic Strategy and Architecture team, focusing on projects centred around Salesforce platforms. We are in the middle of a journey to transform our customer experience through technology, with a global rollout and integration of Salesforce components. Joining forces with our vibrant product, engineering, data, operations, and digital community, you'll contribute to designing, developing, and operating RS' global Customer Technology systems. Our team engages in cutting-edge product advancements and enterprise initiatives, crafting the necessary technology solutions to bolster these innovations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop the architecture & overall design for major/strategic projects which involve Salesforce platforms, in line with the output of the Enterprise Architects and providing the boundaries within which the engineering teams can subsequently deliver.
• Define the Salesforce platform architecture and end to end solution design, including across Salesforce Clouds
• Define the Salesforce integration architecture, in line with standard integration patterns, particularly between Salesforce, SAP, Snowflake, Adobe and other enterprise platforms
• Support, and actively participate in, robust governance processes relating to target and transition conceptual, logical and physical architectures for application/technology solutions for RS’ Salesforce and related platforms
• Facilitate the process of making Key Design decisions, ensuring that all key stakeholders can contribute to the process.
• Communicate the reasoning and implications of key architectural decisions to senior management stakeholders
• Contribute to cross functional Design Working Groups to discuss, agree and communicate key design elements.
• Ensuring that the programmes, projects, and initiatives are aware of, and comply with, the documented Architectural governance processes.
• Provide mentoring and coaching for less experienced members of the Solution Architecture team.

What You’ll Bring

• An experienced Solutions Architect with demonstratable experience with design (e.g. methodologies, diagrams, analysis, specifications)
• Experience with large enterprise customer management architectures, especially the Salesforce portfolio of products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud and Data Cloud
• Demonstrable experience in Salesforce platform architecture and integration of Salesforce components with other enterprise applications, such as SAP, Snowflake, Adobe, Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Master Data Management systems
• Knowledgeable of governance, standards and best practices for Salesforce implementations
