Job summary

Eclipse IT Recruitment seeks a Solutions Analyst in Leicester to shape IT solution architecture and drive successful delivery of warehouse and logistics projects.

You’ll produce functional specifications, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and support testing and deployment across multi-geography engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 2+ years delivering WMS, supply chain and logistics solutions in 3PL or commercial WMS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; creative and critical thinking.
• Ability to deliver well-documented solutions within time/cost/functionality.
• Experience working with remote teams across geographies/time zones.
• Experience with supply chain/logistics applications and processes.
• Good understanding of databases and schemas.
• Knowledge of trends in software applications and EDI messaging

Responsibilities

• Responsible for IT solution architecture and design covering engineering, operations and customer requirements.
• Produce Functional Specifications to support delivery of new projects and change requests.
• Collaborate with Customers, IT Analyst team, Business Development, Engineering, Process Engineering & Operations.
• Create Functional Specifications with necessary sign-offs.
• Support project testing phases – QA, system integration testing, user acceptance testing.
• Perform Integration Analysis for application integration with customer systems.
• Support solution deployments from concept through live/warranty.
• Review and approve delivered software before production promotion.

About the Role

A new opportunity has arisen for an Solutions Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will be a focused team players with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the IT solution architecture and design incorporating the engineering solution, operational and customer specific requirements.
• Responsible for producing Functional Specifications to support the delivery of new business projects, business and customer change requests.
• Working closely with Customers, IT Analyst team, Business Development teams, Engineering, Process Engineering & Operational teams.
• Completion of Functional Specifications to meet solution design and customer requirements with appropriate sign-offs.
• Support/Assist project test phases – QA, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing.
• Integration Analysis to support the Integration of Company’s Application with Customer systems.
• Support of solution deployments from concept through live/warranty phase.
• Review and approval of delivered software prior to promotion into production environments.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in delivery of Warehouse Management, Supply Chain and Logistics solutions within a 3PL or commercial WMS environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to apply creativity and critical thinking to problem solving solutions.
