This is an exciting opportunity to join the Financial Crime Engineering team as a Solution Designer, supporting large-scale, complex transformation workstreams. You'll be responsible for designing end-to-end and stream-level technology deliverables, engaging with multiple senior stakeholders and aligning architecture decisions with business change, operations, and wider technology teams. You'll contribute to a multi-year, transformative initiative for Financial Crime across Sanctions, Fraud, AML, KYC, and Export Controls, rolling out best-in‑class solutions for one of the world's leading financial organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end system design for case management solutions using ServiceNow (data models, workflows, integrations, UI)
- Collaborate with central ServiceNow architecture to implement robust design governance within Financial Crime systems
- Develop lower‑level designs and, if needed, hands‑on proposals (coding experience in Python is beneficial)
- Serve as subject‑matter expert for ServiceNow Case Management; experience with Camunda, Pega, Appian also valued
- Evaluate and recommend ServiceNow modules/plugins to enhance functionality
- Deliver integration designs with external systems (CRM, billing, access, document repositories)
- Support code reviews, testing, and release management with best‑practice guidance
- Implement automation and orchestration for streamlined case management
- Ensure compliance with data privacy/regulatory frameworks (GDPR, FCA)
- Uphold technical quality and design standards per client’s Digital Blueprint and Enterprise Architecture
- Communicate solution design and present to governance forums for review and sign‑off
Qualifications
- Extensive and recent hands‑on experience in ServiceNow case management system design, including data models, workflows, integrations, and user interfaces
- Proven track record of designing, building, and implementing case management solutions on ServiceNow (priority) or on other leading platforms such as Pega, Appian, or Camunda
- Ability to add value immediately in a case‑management context, requiring no ramp‑up or training on ServiceNow or equivalent platforms
- Experience in lower‑level technical design, with hands‑on coding (Python a plus)
- Background in designing complex, large‑scale engineering solutions in financial crime compliance (sanctions, fraud, AML, KYC, export controls)
- Advanced communication skills with demonstrable stakeholder management, aligning technology solutions with business operations and architecture standards
- Familiarity with cloud and on‑premise platforms (AWS, Azure), especially for system integrations with CRM, billing, and document management services
- Strong independent delivery and solution troubleshooting skills
- Full adherence to regulatory (GDPR, FCA) and architectural standards (Digital Blueprint, Enterprise Architecture)
Desirable Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, conveying complex technical matters to non‑technical audiences
- Familiarity with automation/orchestration strategies for case management
