Job summary

Smart Sourcer Limited is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale supply chain solutions, with a focus on Manhattan WMS, TMS and cross-docking operations. You will define end-to-end architecture across warehouse, transportation and order fulfilment capabilities, ensuring scalable, resilient and efficient logistics processes.

The role requires deep knowledge of Manhattan WMS/Active, TMS solutions, cross-docking, and integration across OMS, WMS,

Job description

Solution Architect - Manhattan WMS & TMS, Supply Chain & Logistics

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale supply chain solutions, with a particular focus on Manhattan Associates, Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and cross-docking operations.

You’ll work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define end-to-end architecture across warehouse, transportation and order fulfilment capabilities, ensuring scalable, resilient and efficient logistics processes.

Key Experience:

• Solution Architecture within retail, logistics, distribution or supply chain environments
• Strong knowledge of Manhattan WMS and/or Manhattan Active platforms
• Experience with TMS solutions, transportation planning and carrier integrations
• Deep understanding of cross-docking, warehouse operations and fulfilment processes
• Integration architecture across OMS, WMS, TMS, ERP and external logistics partners
• Cloud-based and API-led architecture experience
• Knowledge of supply chain optimisation, inventory flows and store replenishment
• Exposure to Azure, AWS or modern integration platforms

Location: Reading & 80% remote

Duration: 6 months rolling
