Job summary

ECS Resource Group Ltd is recruiting a Solution Architect to design end-to-end technical solutions aligned with operational resilience regulations and internal frameworks. The role is based in Sheffield, with 1–2 days per week on-site and an initial 6‑month contract.

You will create resilience-focused HLDs/LLDs, translate Operational Resilience and DORA requirements into actionable designs, act as design authority for resilience initiatives, and advise on cloud migration and decommissioning.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a Solution Architect in a large enterprise bank (essential).
• Experience with Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and technology risk.
• Knowledge of Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) desirable.
• Experience with ServiceNow desirable.
• Familiarity with RTO/RPO, backup/DR, and dependency mapping.

We're recruiting for a Global IT Services Provider seeking a Solution Architect to design end-to-end technical solutions aligned to operational resilience regulations and internal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create resilience-focused HLDs/LLDs aligned with enterprise architecture and cloud strategy
• Translate Operational Resilience and DORA requirements into actionable designs
• Act as a design authority for resilience initiatives, reviewing and approving technical designs
• Provide architectural input into programmes including technology modernisation, cloud migration and system decommissioning

Documentation & Reporting Requirements:

• 6+ years as a Solution Architect with proven experience working in a large enterprise bank within the past 3 years' (essential)
• Experience across one or more of the following - Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and technology risk.
• Experience with ServiceNow is desirable
• Knowledge of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of operational resilience frameworks, RTO/RPO, backup/DR, and dependency mapping.
