• Job Type: Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)

Join Reed Professional Services, a leading Management Consultancy and technology services provider, as a Solution Architect. This role involves working with the expanding Portfolio Architecture team at a prestigious company with a rich history and a significant footprint in the postal service industry across the UK and Europe.

Day-to-day of the role

• Work closely with key business stakeholders to understand the Technology estate and its requirements.
• Design and deliver large scale, complex integrated IT solutions.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on the design of systems architectures.
• Communicate complex technical designs effectively to both business stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
• Manage a large and varied workload, prioritising effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure the integration and configuration of a wide range of Information Technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• In-depth and current knowledge of a wide range of Information Technologies, with experience in their integration and configuration.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to set expectations across different teams.
• Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with systems integration methods and technologies.
• Proven track record in the design and delivery of large scale, complex integrated IT solutions.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical designs to a variety of stakeholders.
• Desirable: Experience with Azure, Jira, Confluence, and transitioning from Waterfall to Agile delivery methodologies.
