Job summary

Advantage Resourcing UK Ltd?is recruiting a Solution Architect for a London-based role, with 3 days onsite and a initial 6-month contract. The candidate will lead cloud, data, integration and security architecture across IT projects, ensuring designs meet internal standards and reference architectures.

Key requirements include hands-on Azure, ReactJS, NodeJS, microservices, Kubernetes and GraphQL expertise, plus experience with data platforms and data architecture.

Qualifications

• Hands on expert experience with Cloud especially Azure, ReactJS, NodeJS, microservices, micro-frontend, Kubernetes and GraphQL.
• Experience in data architecture and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create all aspects of solution architecture including cloud, data, integration and security architecture.
• Ensure applications are well designed and conform to internal standards and reference architectures.
• Be the point of contact for all architecture aspects of IT projects and document solutions.
• Support architects and participate in Architecture Review Board discussions as required.
• Develop and maintain Reference Models and ensure future-proof solution designs.

Solution Architect

Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our globally renowned energies client for a Solution Architect who can offer demonstrable experience in;

1. Azure Solution Architecture
2. Data Architecture
3. Experience with designing and using Data platforms.

These 3 elements are essential so please ensure you call this our in your application.

Expectations

Create all aspects of solution architecture including cloud, data, integration and security architecture.

Making sure applications are well designed and conform to internal standards and reference/segment architectures.

You’ll be accountable to the Project Manager for the architecture of a solution being developed and implemented until the successful deployment of the solution.

This includes:

• Being the point of call for all architecture aspects of an IT Project.
• Being able to address and integrate the: Business Process, Data, Application/cloud, Technical and Information Security aspects of an IT Solution.
• Ensure projects solution architecture is documented using the templates, C4/ArchiMate tooling and conforms to standards.
• Support Lead Architects and reviews through the Architecture Review Board as required.
• Take an active role in documenting, improving & maintaining the Reference Models. Lifting project deliverables to the Conceptual and Logical levels.
• Follow IT Technology developments in the market and leverage this knowledge in architecting solutions. Ensure solutions are 'future-proof'.
• Stay in touch with development of standards and standard services in IT within the business; to ensure the latest service developments are taken into account.
• Pro-actively contribute to the development of the Architecture community and be an ambassador for Architecture. Interact with stakeholders on architecture issues and strategic improvements where such expertise is required.
