Job summary

NTT DATA UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced IT Architect to translate client business requirements into scalable cloud-enabled solutions. You will ensure integration across software and hardware while guiding development teams in implementing the architecture.

You will lead architecture reviews to ensure alignment with industry standards, and collaborate with clients to gather feedback and adapt designs as projects evolve. This role offers impactful work across sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven IT architecture experience with cloud services.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or Zachman frameworks.
• Experience with SOA, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
• Ability to create high- and low-level design documentation.
• Strong communication to identify key themes and concerns.
• Skilled in influencing stakeholders and building sustainable relationships.
• Experience contributing to RFP responses and pre-sales is a bonus.

Job description

What you';ll be doing:

• Analysing and mapping clients’ business requirements, processes, and objectives.
• Creating comprehensive and scalable technical solutions and ensuring that different software and hardware components of the solution work together seamlessly.
• Providing technical guidance to the development teams helping them to implement the architecture.
• Conducting regular reviews of the architecture to ensure that the solution adheres to industry regulations and standards.
• Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns and adapt the solution as needed.

What experience you';ll bring:

• Strong solution / IT architecture experience with a good understanding of cloud-based services.
• Experience working within an architectural framework (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman).
• Deep understanding and the ability to use various architecture and application deployment patterns, such as SOA, microservices, event-driven, layered models.
• Strong expertise in creating conceptual designs for business cases, as well as high-level and low-level design documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to spot and address common themes and architecturally significant concerns.
• Adept in using a range of influencing styles to building strong sustainable relationships.
• Prior Experience of contributing to RFPs response and pre-sales activities is a bonus.
