Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is supporting a specialist manufacturer in Witney, Oxfordshire, recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer (SolidWorks). The role focuses on creating mechanical designs, assemblies and drawings from concept through to manufacture.

You will work in a skilled design and engineering team, applying GD&T and ensuring engineering standards are met, while collaborating with production to ensure designs are practical for manufacture. Monday to Friday, on-site role.

Qualifications

• SolidWorks experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Producing mechanical designs and manufacturing drawings.
• GD&T knowledge and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical designs and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Support new product development and design updates.
• Create and maintain drawings and documentation to engineering standards.
