Solicitor - Real Estate - NQ-2 years PQE - Exeter

Location: Exeter Office
Type of Role: Full-time (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive, £56,000 to £70,000

Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well-established regional law firm, currently seeking a junior Solicitor to join their thriving Real Estate team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or someone with up to 2 years' PQE to develop their career within a highly respected property practice.

The Role
This is a hands-on and client-facing position, offering exposure to a broad range of real estate matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
  • Handling landlord and tenant transactions
  • Supporting real estate finance and development projects
  • Working with clients across sectors including investment, infrastructure, and housebuilding
  • Delivering clear, commercially focused legal advice
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to team success


Candidate Requirements

  • Up to 2 years' PQE in real estate law
  • Experience gained at a respected city, national or regional firm
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • A proactive, pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving
  • Genuine enthusiasm for property law and sector developments
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to professional growth
