Job summary

A leading housing and care provider in the UK is seeking a Solicitor - Property to manage legal services related to property compliance. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with proven experience in property law and be able to work well in a team. This role offers a salary range of £48,611 to £51,169 per year and includes an attractive benefits package. The position will be based in Worcester with a hybrid work model.

We have an opportunity for a Solicitor– Property to join our Property team, based within Legal Services. The main purpose of this role is to support the management and delivery of property-related legal services to the Group ensuring compliance with regulations and business policies.

The role of Solicitor - Property will include:
  • Manage programmes and initiatives affecting the Group's property portfolio to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulation
  • Assist in managing the Group’s external legal providers, ensuring the delivery of a quality service that represents value for money
  • Manage own caseload of legal work including sales, leases, infrastructure agreements
  • Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service
  • Review and update relevant policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Skills and experiences:
  • Qualified Solicitor or FCILEX
  • Recent experience of managing property related legal transactions
  • Proven achievement working in a commercially focussed legal role
  • Working knowledge of property law, housing regulations and current best practice
  • Excellent customer care and communication skills
