Fletchers Group is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor (Senior level) based in Reading with hybrid working options. You will manage complex cases from start to finish, lead a team, and maintain strong client relationships in a supportive, high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Recent caseload handling experience.
• 8 years+ PQE or equivalent in Clinical Negligence.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills.
• Excellent IT skills especially MS Office, Proclaim and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment.
• Ability to work well with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, guidance and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to customers.
• Proactive and commercial case management and progression.
• Support the Team Leader in ensuring the delivery of the team’s financial performance KPIs.
• Effective and thorough time recording.
• Discussing and agreeing case tactics and planning with the Team Leader and team members.
• Identifying cases ready for LOC, settlement and service within the team.
• Co-ordinate progression of cases with internal and external parties.
• Drafting of legal documentation including LOC, letters of instruction.
• Negotiating settlement and the issuing and service of proceedings if required.
• Overseeing documentation and correspondence produced by the team.
• Advise the team on technical issues arising from.
