Role: Inheritance Protection Solicitor / Legal Executive
Location: Port Solent (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 from home)
Experience: 4+ PQE
Salary: Competitive / Negotiable DOE
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Reports to: Head of Inheritance Protection

The Opportunity

An established and forward-thinking regional law firm is seeking an experienced Inheritance Protection Solicitor or Legal Executive (4+ PQE) to join their highly regarded Private Client team in Port Solent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a varied caseload, play a key role in business development, and mentoring.

The Role

You’ll manage a diverse caseload covering:

  • Wills, Trusts & Probate

  • Lasting Powers of Attorney

  • Estate Administration

  • Inheritance Tax & Care Home Fee Planning

  • Lifetime Gifting & Declarations of Trust

You’ll also:

  • Deliver outstanding client service and maintain strong relationships

  • Contribute to business growth through networking and marketing

  • Support junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative culture

About You
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (England & Wales)

  • Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in Inheritance Protection / Private Client work

  • STEP qualified (or working toward) advantageous

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong commercial awareness and client focus
