Role Summary

A leading national law firm is seeking a General Liability Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE) to join its established Insurance team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work with market-leading insurer clients on a varied and technically engaging caseloa.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist on a range of defendant personal injury and liability matters.
• Employers’, Public and Products Liability claims.
• Fast track, intermediate and multi-track personal injury cases.
• Advising insurer clients on liability and coverage issues.
• Supporting investigations into health & safety matters, inquests and regulatory issues.
• Assisting with product liability claims.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team.

As your experience develops, you will have increasing autonomy over your own files and opportunities to get involved in business development.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive.
• NQ–2 years’ PQE with experience in personal injury or insurance litigation.
• A solid understanding of litigation procedure and case management.
• Exposure to liability claims (EL/PL/Products) desirable.
• Strong drafting, organisational and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• A proactive, commercially aware approach.
