Role Overview

A dynamic law firm based in Manchester is expanding its financial mis‑selling litigation team and is seeking a qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in consumer finance mis‑selling claims, particularly in PCP / car finance. You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to litigation, including drafting pleadings, completing disclosure, instructing counsel, and preparing for trial.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
  • 4+ years’ PQE in civil litigation, ideally financial mis‑selling / PCP / car finance.
  • Proven ability to manage litigated claims from inception to trial or resolution.
  • Excellent drafting and advocacy skills: pleadings, witness statements, court bundles.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, consumer credit law, and mis‑selling frameworks.
  • Confident liaising with clients, counsel, and financial institutions; excellent client-care.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple files.
  • Qualified to practice in England & Wales as a solicitor.
