Job description

Join our dynamic team in London as a Lawyer specialising in Employment Rights. In this role you’ll manage a full caseload, providing expert advice and representation across a range of employment matters.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and representation on unfair dismissal, complex discrimination and other employment matters.
  • Navigate Employment Tribunal (ET) and Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) rules, evidence and litigation processes effectively.
  • Evaluate the likelihood of success and the value of claims, and calculate special damages and other financial aspects.
  • Maintain clear verbal and written communication, including strong drafting and advocacy abilities.
  • Work efficiently within tight timelines and organise and manage case files using MS Outlook, Word and electronic case management systems.
  • Provide informal guidance to junior staff when required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years’ experience handling a full caseload, including direct client contact and litigation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant laws and regulations, particularly within employment rights.
  • High capability to evaluate success likelihood and claim value, and to calculate special damages.
  • Strong organisation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and electronic case management systems.
  • Empathy for clients and ability to maintain positive relationships.
  • Collaborative mindset and capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
