Job summary
Notting Hill Genesis is seeking an experienced Solicitor - Disrepair and Compliance to lead the in-house housing management litigation team in London. You will own disrepair, Environmental Protection Act claims and access injunctions, guiding the team to timely, effective resolutions.
You will supervise paralegals, manage complex caseloads and deliver high-quality legal work while ensuring compliance and sound risk management.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with valid practising certificate.
- Experience in housing law and social housing litigation.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams of paralegals.
Responsibilities
- Manage own caseload of housing management litigation, including disrepair and EA claims.
- Lead and mentor a team of paralegals, monitoring performance and training.
- Take day-to-day responsibility for the disrepair and compliance workstream.
- Prepare, draft and respond to legal documentation, bundles and statements.
- Provide specialist legal advice to operational teams and residents.
- Flag high-risk cases and manage legal spend within budget.
