Solicitor - Court of Protection (5 Years PQE)

Location: Bristol (Flexible working available)
Type: Permanent, Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

Lead and Build a New Court of Protection Team

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing a caseload of welfare and financial disputes under the Court of Protection
  • Advising clients and families on deputyship, capacity, and best interests matters
  • Leading the development of internal processes and best practices
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members as the practice expands
  • Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals to deliver exceptional service
  • Driving business development and strategic planning for long-term success
What We're Looking For
  • At least 5 years' PQE in Court of Protection or related areas such as mental capacity, healthcare, or private client
  • Strong advocacy, drafting, and client care skills
  • Leadership potential and a desire to build and guide a team
  • Confidence in working independently and taking initiative
  • A commitment to delivering sensitive, high-quality legal support
  • Flexibility to attend client meetings and contribute to firm-wide collaboration
