Associate Solicitor – Employment Law

Manchester (City Centre)

Full-time, Permanent

£50,000–£60,000 + bonus

3–4 days per week in the office

A progressive and well-regarded legal firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its established Employment Law team in central Manchester.

This is a strong opportunity for an employment lawyer with solid post-qualification experience to work within a Legal 500-recognised practice , advising a diverse client base on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters. The role offers high-quality work, genuine client exposure, and the chance to take increasing responsibility as part of a collaborative team.

The role will include :

  • Advising employers on a wide range of employment law matters, including disputes, contracts, and HR processes
  • Managing Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal cases, including advocacy where appropriate
  • Handling ACAS early conciliation and settlement negotiations
  • Drafting employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
  • Delivering legal updates and practical training sessions to clients
  • Supporting clients across sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, and professional services
