Job summary

Sellick Partnership is assisting a Legal500-recognised firm in Farnham to hire an experienced Family Solicitor (4+ PQE). You will manage a varied caseload, advise on divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and nuptial agreements where appropriate.

You will build strong client relationships, work independently and as part of a team, and contribute to the ongoing development of the Family team within this established Farnham practice.

Qualifications

• A qualified Solicitor, Lawyer or Legal Executive with 4+ years’ PQE in Family Law.
• Experience managing your own caseload of family matters.
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of family law issues.
• A proactive and personable approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of privately funded family matters.
• Advising clients on divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings and matrimonial finances.
• Handling private children matters, including arrangements for children and associated disputes.
• Advising on cohabitation disputes and pre- and post-nuptial agreements, where appropriate.
