Job summary

J Matthews Legal seeks a Sole UK Legal Counsel for a leading global brand in Digital Experience. You will be the first permanent legal hire, reporting directly to the CEO, handling a diverse range of commercial agreements with a focus on tech and SaaS matters, and enjoying significant autonomy from day one.

The role can be performed predominantly remotely/from home, with opportunities for internal career progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified UK solicitor with experience in the Tech/IT industry.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Experience advising on SaaS and technology-related contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with a tech focus.
• Provide legal guidance on SaaS, licensing and data/privacy matters.
• Work directly with CEO and senior stakeholders with high autonomy.

Sole UK Legal Counsel

Do you want to work for a leading global name in the Digital Experience space?

Client

You will be working for a hugely successful and rapidly expanding international brand name organisation.

Role

You will be the company's 1st permanent legal hire. You will undertake an extremely diverse and broad role, working principally on a wide range of commercial contracts and issues including tech and SaaS focused agreements.

You will report directly into the CEO and you will be given significant amounts of autonomy to run with your own matters from the off. You will have direct exposure to all levels of stakeholders from within the business. You will have fantastic opportunities for internal career progression and development.

You will be able to undertake this role predominantly remotely/from home.

You

You will have some prior experience of working in the Tech/I.T. industry. You will be a qualified UK Solicitor.
