Soldering Technician – Slough

Full-Time Up to £24,600 per annum (DOE)

Do you have an interest in electronics and a steady hand for precision work? We’re looking for Soldering Technicians at all levels of experience to join a growing electronics manufacturing team in the Slough area. If you’ve had some exposure to electronics and think you could pass a soldering trade test, we’d love to hear from you!

The Role

As a Soldering Technician, you’ll work within a team responsible for all aspects of conventional through-hole soldering and assembly. Key duties include:

  • Hand soldering and assembling electronic components
  • Preparing kits and maintaining production quality
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, and bills of materials
  • Maintaining excellent standards of accuracy and housekeeping
  • Supporting inspection and other production activities as needed

Strong attention to detail, good hand‑eye coordination, and pride in your workmanship are essential.

  • Salary up to £24,600, depending on experience
  • 37-hour working week
  • Mon–Thu: 07:30–16:00 (½ hour lunch)
  • Fri: 07:30–12:30 (no lunch)
  • 25 days holiday bank holidays (with extra days for long service)
