Job Title: Soldering Technician – Electronics Manufacturing

We are currently seeking a skilled Class 3 Solderer to join our team. This role involves precision hand soldering of predominantly conventional (through-hole) components, as well as occasional surface‑mount work, for a variety of major OEMs across various sectors, including Automotive, Clean Energy, defence and aerospace, Medical, and others.

Soldering Technician – Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hand soldering to PCBs following detailed build instructions and IPC‑A‑610 / J‑STD standards.
  • Carry out board modifications based on customer specifications (depending on experience).
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality processes and highlight any gaps or improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and procedures.
Soldering Technician - Skills & Experience

Minimum requirement: Trained to IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD Class 3 standards.

  • Experience in soldering conventional components; some surface mount experience is a plus.
  • Ability to follow customer drawings and build instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Knowledge of resistor colour codes is desirable.
  • Current IPC certification and experience with aerospace standards are advantageous.
