Job summary

A specialist manufacturing company in Dartford is looking for a Soldering and Assembly Worker. The role requires experience in electrical wiring and the ability to perform assembly tasks using basic tools. Responsibilities include soldering and assembling lighting products, managing orders, and maintaining the cleanliness of the workstation. The hours are 7.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 11.15am on Fridays.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with maintaining workshop cleanliness.

Overview

Premier Work Support are currently recruiting a permanent Soldering and Assembly Worker to work in a specialist manufacturing company within the Crayford area.

This role involves soldering and assembling lighting products for customer sales orders. In this role, you will be responsible for several customer orders at one time. Kits will be picked and delivered to your bench from the storeroom.

Responsibilities

Duties will include :

  • Carrying out assembly work in a manufacturing environment
  • Mixing and filling electronic assemblies
  • Hand soldering wires to circuit boards
  • Cutting and prepping cables
  • Managing your own workload while reporting to a team leader
  • Testing products at various stages of assembly and identifying any problems to the team leader
  • Completing assemblies within the time constraints set
  • Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical wiring and assembly with basic tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons and have the ability to read assembly and wiring drawings.

Hours

The hours are 7.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 11.15am on Fridays.
