Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Solar Technical Manager to oversee the technical delivery of commercial and utility-scale Solar PV projects. The role combines hands-on electrical expertise with leadership, site audits, and documentation management in a hybrid setup near Chesterfield. You will mentor engineers, liaise with project teams and drive safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and handover documentation, including test certificates and compliance reports.
• Mentor engineers and technicians while supporting the wider project team.
• Hybrid role based near Chesterfield with occasional site visits.

Are you an experienced Solar PV Electrician or Lead Solar Electrician looking to progress into a technical management role with full training provided, using your hands-on experience to oversee commercial and utility-scale solar projects?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a renewable energy business with over 30 years of experience delivering turnkey Solar PV projects across the UK. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely to a high standard and in line with technical requirements.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Solar PV Electrician or Lead Solar Electrician with strong practical and electrical knowledge, looking to progress into a technical management role covering site audits, quality control, technical support and team mentoring.
