Job summary

SKV Renewables Ltd is expanding its domestic solar PV business and seeking an experienced Solar Sales & Surveyor. The role combines field-based sales, technical surveys, and customer engagement to design tailored solar solutions and close deals with homeowners.

Candidates should have proven solar sales experience, strong knowledge of domestic solar PV systems, and be comfortable conducting roof/site surveys using solar design tools such as OpenSolar.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solar or renewable energy sales.
• Strong understanding of domestic solar PV systems.
• Experience using solar design software (e.g. OpenSolar).
• Ability to conduct roof/site surveys and assess suitability.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
• Background in electrical, roofing, or energy efficiency.
• Experience working with domestic customers/homeowners.
• Technical knowledge of system sizing and return on investment calculations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on inbound solar enquiries.
• Book and attend domestic property surveys.
• Conduct detailed roof assessments and evaluate energy consumption.
• Prepare accurate quotes and professional proposals.
• Present solutions and close sales during on-site visits.
• Maintain up-to-date records of leads, surveys, and conversions.
• Deliver excellent customer service from initial enquiry through to installation.
• Proven experience in solar or renewable energy sales.
