Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and specifying solar PV and battery systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and BS 7671.
  • Experience with MCS standards for solar PV and battery storage.
  • Confidence interpreting surveys, photos, and roof plans.
  • Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end technical design of residential solar PV and battery systems.
  • Produce compliant solar PV layouts and specifications.
  • Conduct desktop technical assessments using design tools.
  • Provide technical guidance to installers and project managers.
  • Stay up to date with solar and battery technologies.
