Solar Farm Project Manager (Electrical Biased) - 6 month contract

Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (Outside IR35)

Location: Cardiff (onsite 5 days per week)

Sustainable Talent has engaged exclusively with an industry leader who designs, installs, and commissions large-scale solar PV farms for their clients. Supplying renewable energy from solar power plants enables local communities to reduce costs and decrease their carbon footprint. It also allows for providing off-grid power in remote areas, which can be sold back to the grid or used locally at a cheaper rate than grid-supplied energy.

Candidate Requirements:
  1. Previous project management experience within utility-scale ground-mounted solar PV
  2. Strong civils background
  3. Ability to build strong relationships with the end client
  4. Maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  5. Ensure compliance with all site-related HSE policies and requirements
  6. Meet programme deadlines and budget by managing all site works
  7. Participate in internal and external project meetings
  8. Experience in reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes
  9. Previous exposure to H&S, budget, and programme responsibility
  10. Qualified at HNC level with relevant industry training (SMSTS, CDM, IOSH)
  11. Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing with clients, supply chain, and employees
  12. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to multi-task
