Job summary

Accelerated People Management Ltd is seeking an experienced Solar Electrician to join their growing renewable energy team in Cheltenham. You will lead domestic and commercial Solar PV installations, take ownership on site, interpret electrical drawings, and ensure quality and safety across projects.

With NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition, you will work with a company van, fuel card, and ongoing training, with clear progression opportunities as the team expands across Gloucestershire.

Qualifications

• Proven experience carrying out electrical installations, ideally with Solar PV exposure.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and install to high standards.
• Strong independent working and on-site problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Solar PV installations across domestic and commercial projects around Cheltenham.
• Complete electrical installations, inverter connections, testing, inspection and commissioning.
• Take ownership of installations on site and resolve technical issues on the fly.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure safe, high-quality project delivery.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Solar Electrician to join a rapidly growing renewable energy business and take a leading role across domestic and commercial Solar PV installations. The company is making a real name for itself within the renewable energy sector and is experiencing significant growth, with an increasing pipeline of domestic and commercial Solar PV projects across Gloucestershire. With ambitious plans to expand its operations and develop its electrical team, they are now looking for an experienced Solar Electrician who wants to take ownership of installations, broaden their technical expertise and grow alongside a business with an exciting future.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Solar PV installations across a mixture of domestic and commercial projects in and around Cheltenham
• Completing electrical installations, inverter connections, testing, inspection and commissioning across Solar PV systems
• Taking ownership of installations on site, working independently from electrical schematics and resolving technical issues
• Working alongside the wider team to ensure installations are completed safely and to a high standard while gaining exposure to larger commercial projects

Requirements

• Proven experience carrying out electrical installations, ideally with hands-on domestic or commercial Solar PV experience
• NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and relevant electrical qualifications, with Solar PV qualifications advantageous
• Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to work independently, interpret electrical drawings and complete installations to a high standard
• A full UK driving licence, strong customer-facing skills and the ambition to develop within a growing renewable energy business
