You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of systems implemented at Onebright.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure quality and functionality of systems implemented at Onebright.
• Use Cypress to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Leverage Cypress for end-to-end, integration, and regression testing to ensure robust test coverage.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Cypress test suites for efficiency and stability.
• Adopt best practices in Cypress test architecture, including reusable components, custom commands, and CI/CD integration.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cypress is essential; proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications.
• Ability to leverage Cypress for end-to-end, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing Cypress test suites for efficiency and stability.
• Familiarity with Cypress test architecture best practices, including reusable components, custom commands, and CI/CD integration.
• Location: You must be located within 50 miles of our York office to ensure effective collaboration and attendance at in-person meetings or team activities.
• Agile & SCRUM: Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and practical experience working within the SCRUM framework.
• Automation Testing: At least 2 years of proven experience in automation testing, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality automated solutions.
• JIRA & Confluence: Proficient in using JIRA for ticket management and Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration within the team and across departments.
