Leonardo UK Ltd is seeking Software Test Engineers to support our Electronic Warfare projects. Direct industry experience is not essential; we welcome applicants from varied backgrounds and will help develop the right skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and testing of features for defence software within Electronic Warfare projects.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve software quality and reliability.
• Perform manual and automated testing as appropriate and raise defects.
• Document test results and provide clear status updates to the team.

Salary Range:

£55,000 - £65,000

Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

We are on the hunt for talented Software Test Engineers to support our Electronic Warfare line of business, working on a range of defence projects. Direct industry experience is not essential, we are happy to explore all backgrounds and help develop the right individuals.

We want to develop a new generation of features and capabilities, you will be a key part in a community of world-class software engineers who will continuously improve, collaborate and innovate with other engineers to create market-leading products within the defence industry.

What you’ll bring

• ISTQB Foundation level
